Lessons I've Learned Building Mobile Products (The Fun Version)

- One of the best ways to learn patience is to become... a Product Community Manager. It's also a surprisingly effective path toward meditation and inner peace. 🧘🏻♂️
- You'll know your product is becoming popular when your analytics dashboard suddenly tells you that a surprisingly large number of users are on BPhone and VSmart.
- A product doesn't appear bug-free because it has no bugs. 🐞 It appears bug-free because... not enough people have installed it yet.
- Users who complain are actually giving you an opportunity. If you fix their problem quickly, there's still a chance they'll come back. Most unhappy users simply... uninstall the app and never return.
- Users who encounter a problem but receive fast, thoughtful support are often more likely to recommend your product than users who never experienced an issue in the first place.
Update: I almost forgot the most important lesson.
Even if you read every piece of advice I've written-or everything anyone else has ever written-you'll still have to experience these lessons yourself before you truly understand them. 😬
