AudioAZ - Audiobooks, Podcasts, and Public Domain Audio
A free platform for discovering and listening to audiobooks and podcasts, available on the web and as a dedicated app for iOS and Android.
AudioAZ (https://audioaz.com) brings free audiobooks, podcasts, and public-domain recordings into one simple listening experience. I built it for people who want to learn, relax, or discover classic audio without juggling subscriptions or complicated apps.
Overview
AudioAZ is available on the web, iOS, and Android. It organizes public-domain and community-contributed audio into a browsable library, including:
- Free audiobooks: Thousands of titles, from well-known classics to niche collections.
- Podcasts: Shows across learning, culture, storytelling, and everyday interests.
- Archive audio: Historical speeches, radio dramas, meditations, and other recordings worth preserving.
Motivation
The project started from a personal routine. During long, noisy commutes, I wanted a reliable way to keep listening and learning without hopping between paid services. AudioAZ became a compact home for those resources: searchable, portable, and easy to return to later.
Highlights
- Search and discovery: Find content by title, author, genre, or narrator.
- Personal library: Save favorites and keep your listening list close.
- Offline listening: Download audio for flights, commutes, and low-signal moments.
- Progress sync: Continue from where you stopped across supported devices.
- Playback controls: Adjust speed from 0.8x to 3.0x and use a sleep timer at night.
- Light and dark themes: Keep the interface comfortable in different environments.
Who It Helps
- Curious listeners who want a free library without hidden costs.
- Commuters and multitaskers who turn spare time into listening time.
- Classic literature fans who enjoy public-domain works and archival recordings.
